Annemarie van der Zeeuw
With a background in modern linguistics from Leiden University, I have worked as a language teacher and writing coach since 1981. In my teaching, I help authors make writing a pleasant and productive activity: one that helps them develop and clarify their ideas, rather than leaving them feeling blocked or overwhelmed.
I greatly enjoy teaching scientific writing. I love the variety of research topics, the challenge of working on everything from the overall structure of a paper to individual paragraphs and sentences, and the enthusiasm and engagement of my PhD students.
At AvL/NKI, my course follows a blended format, combining five online modules with two in-person sessions. This brings together the flexibility of online learning and the benefits of personal feedback and discussion.
